Founded in 1993, Escape to Create is based in the town of Seaside, Florida, widely hailed as the birthplace of New Urbanism. The mission of Escape to Create is to foster the creation of art that teaches and inspires by offering artists a supportive environment for creative work and to further the appreciation of the arts as an integral part of community life.
